I'm a data scientist at Schireson Associates, a consulting firm based in New York City that serves the media and technology industries, where I work on television commercial placement models using alternative media currencies. I'm also a visiting fellow at Yale Law School's Information Society Project, where I spent the 2014-2015 academic year in a postdoc. During the summer of 2015, I was a fellow at Insight Data Science.
I received my Ph.D. in political science from The George Washington University in 2014. My dissertation used quantitative and qualitative research to show how intellectual property laws spread throughout the world. My postdoctoral research used natural language processing and machine learning to better understand public opinion on net neutrality and climate change.
