I'm a director at Known (formerly Schireson Associates), a marketing consultancy that serves the media, advertising, and technology industries.
My day-to-day involves designing and building complex data pipelines and infrastructure, advising colleagues and clients as a subject matter and data expert, and training and testing predictive models and optimization algorithms.
I received my Ph.D. in political science from The George Washington University in 2014. My dissertation used quantitative and qualitative research to show how intellectual property laws spread throughout the world. My postdoctoral research used natural language processing and machine learning to better understand public opinion on net neutrality and climate change.
